YAM Pengiran Anak Mansurah Izzul Bolkiah, the Team Captain for the Chikara team, receives a trophy from the guest of honour, Dato Paduka Hj Jemat bin Hj Ampal By Aziz Idris PARTICIPANTS of the inaugural “MB Invitational Cup 2009″, including YAM Pengiran Anak Mansurah Izzul Bolkiah, the Team Captain for the Chikara team, attended a gala at Millennium Restaurant last night to mark the closing of the softball tournament. The winning teams received their prizes from the guest of honour, Dato Paduka Hj Jemat bin Hj Ampal, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sports. The tournament, which was held at the Royal Brunei Polo & Riding Club Jerudong from June 19 to June In the men’s category, the championship trophy went to the PLK Zombies team. Meanwhile, Black Arrows team and Kensei team came in second and third place respectively. In the women’s category, the Legends team of the Philippines bagged the championship trophy, while the Rebels team of Indonesia and Kensei team came in second and third place respectively. At the end of the event, YAM Pengiran Anak Mansurah Izzul Bolkiah, who is the Chairlady of the Chikara and Kensei softball teams, presented certificates of appreciation to all sponsors and participants.
